A Note from the Director…

My name is Brian Kinchen and I’m the host of the Fundamental Football and Cheerleading Camp, along with my wife, Lori.

We’re adding cheerleading to our camp this year, directed by Lori Kinchen who was a member of LSU’s only national championship cheerleading squad in 1989. Lori has coach cheerleading and tumbling for twenty years or so, and she is currently the head cheerleading coach at Parkview Baptist High School.

I’ve grown up with football in my blood, playing at every level of the game, including 14 years in the NFL. My final season in 2003, I was able to win a World Championship while playing for the New England Patriot’s.

Most of the our coaches over the years have included other former LSU and NFL players, including Kevin Faulk, Kyle Williams, Tommy Hodson, Eddie Fuller, Eric Hill, Eugene Daniel, Todd Kinchen and Warren Capone.

Our camp is strategically placed late in the summer, so the kids will be able to take what they’ve learned and carry it right into fall football. We will work the kids hard, but we also have lots of fun, ending some days by eating water melons or popsicles, and last year we ended camp on a giant slip and slide.

So we hope to see you this summer at the Fundamental Football and Cheerleading Camp!

1st through 4th Grade: July 8th-11th: 9:00am-12:00pm ($125)
5th through 8th Grade: July 8th-11th: 1:00pm-4:00pm ($150)
